USPEE ”CONSTANTIN STERE” INVITES

University of Political and Economic European Studies “CONSTANTIN STERE” welcomes applications for the 5th edition of the Summer Academy to be held in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova from 23 to 31 August 2025 inclusive.

This international event will bring together researchers, educational managers and doctoral students from Europe and beyond to explore how the humanities and social sciences are changing and to analyze what response is needed from the theory and practice of higher education. The summer school will stimulate scientific debates regarding globalisation, glocalisation, internationalisation, digitalisation, cognitivisation, virusalisation, digital humanisation, data security and their impact on trends in streamlining university education in the context of global societal challenges in natural and social sciences.

Participants. We encourage all education stakeholders to participate in this event, especially professors, researchers, PhD students, MA students from Republic of Moldova, Romania and abroad. The abstracts should be written in English, the official language of the event.

The Summer Academy will start on 23th August 2025 and finish on 31^st August 2025.

It consists of:
•    Plenary sessions: With keynote speakers discussing overarching themes.
•    Breakout sessions: Focused group discussions on specialised topics.
•    Cultural Program & International Festival of Poetry “Nicolae Dabija”

Researchers may submit complete, original, and unpublished research papers, either conceptual or empirical. The Turnitin similarity index must be below 20%. We kindly request interested colleagues to submit the conference paper, along with the authors’ names and full contact details, as soon as possible. Early submission of scientific papers is strongly encouraged.
